In preparation for our long journey we have set up this blog to keep in touch. We'll add pics and an account of how we're getting along. Most importantly we'll try and relay our experiences of the various sights, sounds and smells which we encounter along the way.
Before we start this cycle tour we'll be spending 6 weeks in England visiting friends, cycling along the beautiful lanes, possibly in the rain and enjoying celebrating Carl's retirement.

We have taken on the challenge of riding 4000 kilometers from Paris to Istanbul on our tandem "Bluebelle". The route follows that of the famous Orient Express train.
